What is a Child Soldier?
Child Soldiers have been used to fight wars throughout history. Unfortunately, not many people know about child soldiers and their use in the world today. Child Soldiers can be as younger than ten when they are abducted, which is way too young tobe fighting a war(http://www.child-soldiers.org/about_the_issues.php).
A Child Soldier is

Being a child soldier changes a kid’s life forever. Ricky Anywar, a former child soldier described his emotions after the first time he witnessed death as, “I felt like the world became dark,” (Kelly, 2012, Once a Child Soldier, Now a Provider of Hope, p1).
However, some child soldiers find death amusing and are proud of the deaths they have caused and their rank as a soldier. Patrick F. said, “I was not afraid, when I killed LURD soldiers, I would laugh at them, this is how I got my nickname, ‘Laughing and Killing’.” (Roles and Responsibilities of Child Soldiers, http://www.hrw.org/reports/2004/liberia0204/6.htm)
